I don't think you really love me My instinct tells me "No" My heart wants to be with you But my mind tells me to go I don't think you really care My heart agrees with this I can see it in your eyes And I feel it in your kiss It's not the same as it used to be Something isn't right And it's killing me living each day Only to cry to myself each night I don't think you want to be with me You just want me to be okay But my depression is part of me Whether you're here or not it will stay Don't be with me out of pity But I know thats the reason why You're only with me to protect me You're afraid I'll let myself die My words hurt me deep Because I know that they are true I don't want you to go But what am I suppose to do?

But if I'd never met you, I wouldn't know the pleasure Of ecstasy's warm gifts And memories to treasure. Now moving on with life, I force a wistful grin, Questioning what went wrong, Wondering what might have been. By Joanna Fuchs.
There is surprising demand for "love hurts" poems and breakup love poems, such as this broken heart poem. Farewell My Love Is it really true our love is over now? Can it be time for us to say goodbye? Too soon, it's much too soon, my love, for me; You smile with ease, but I can only sigh.
We've shared our lives and given so much love; I can't believe we're really going to part; You're moving toward a new life without me; I'm left with scars upon my broken heart. Go on now, if you must; I'll get along; How much it hurts, I don't want you to know. I'll set you free without inducing guilt, But as you leave, the silent tears will flow.
I can't be mad; I love you way too much; I'll hide my sadness now, so you can't tell. Sweet happiness is what I wish for you; Farewell my love, I hope that you fare well. Sad love poems express feelings of loss.
This lost love poem could apply after a divorce or breakup or even a death. I don't have the strength To carry on. Skies always seemed sunny When you were here; Now there's nothing but gloom In my atmosphere. I loved you so much; You were all I had; Now my whole world Is depressing and sad. I'd like to start feeling Other than blue, But you were my everything, What can I do?
Is This What Love Is? Is this all we have together? Is this what love really is, Yelling through a quarrel And making up with a kiss?I love this poem. It captures the true essence of what love is all about - spoken and expressed in ways that the recipient can appreciate. The rich visual imagery the writer creates with the words makes me laugh and makes me whole-heartedly agree! Classic Poem. If you're ever going to love me love me now, while I can know All the sweet and tender feelings which from real affection flow. Love me now, while I am living; do not wait till I am gone And then chisel it in marble — warm love words on ice-cold stone. If you've dear, sweet thoughts about me, why not whisper them to me?
Don't you know 'twould make me happy and as glad as glad could be? If you wait till I am sleeping, ne'er to waken here again, There'll be walls of earth between us and I couldn't hear you then.
I Love You Poems
If you knew someone was thirsting for a drop of water sweet Would you be so slow to bring it? Would you step with laggard feet? There are tender hearts all round us who are thirsting for our love; Why withhold from them what nature makes them crave all else above?I Don't Love You - Spoken Word Poetry
I won't need your kind caresses when the grass grows o'er my face; I won't crave your love or kisses in my last low resting place. So, then, if you love me any, if it's but a little bit, Let me know it now while living; I can own and treasure it. Rate this poem:. Reviews Post review. Report violation. Touched me to the core! I experimented with it in my life. I told everything of my life to my wife. She cried and accepted me. It seemed nothing but a lie.
If love is great, if it is true, Then how can you explain this thing I'm going through? The truth that you don't love me anymore Is killing me to my core. And the truth that you are the only one I adore Is a kind of pain that I can't take anymore. I thought you loved me more than anything. Then one day you just left me with nothing. And now I'm all alone in this room where you used to lie. Sometimes the truth makes everything seems like a lie.
